Nowadays, many filipinos, specially the teenagers, are unaware of some uncommon Filipino words. It’s because of the of the modern technologies we have. Filipino, our in country’s native tongue. It evolves and changes, comprised of many other languages. We often used other languages than our own. Most likely, teenagers are fan with Koreans or shall I say k-drama which they also speak Korean language even though they don’t understand. We often find foreigners who struggle to learn Tagalog. But the truth be told, No matter how Filipinos are fluent in our native language—still have so much to learn. English word: Boyfriend/Girlfriend

Meaning: Love is an emotion after involved.

Example: Maraming tambay sa plaza kasama and kanilang mga katipan.

2. Salipawpaw

English word: Airplane

Meaning: Is a powered, fixed wing aircraft that is propelled forward by thrust from a jet engine or propeller.
